Eligibility for Membership

Individuals who meet at least one of the following criteria are eligible to become members of SANDEM:

a) Individuals who have reached the age of 15 and are considered workers under the provisions of Law No. 6356,

b) Artists, cultural workers, educators, and other workers who are employed in or operate within the “Commerce, Office, Education, and Fine Arts” sector listed as item (10) in the annex of Law No. 6356,

c) Professional or amateur artists working in the fields of art and culture under insecure, freelance, or independent conditions,

d) Students receiving art education and academics working in the field of arts,

e) Foreign nationals residing in Türkiye or having a working relationship connected to Türkiye.

Membership

After visiting turkiye.gov.tr, select the Ministry of Labor and Social Security under the “Institutions” section.
