ARTIST'S FUND - Support Fund for Art Workers
SANDEM is a social solidarity fund established to provide economic support to artists in cases of unemployment, disasters, fatal illnesses, long-term health problems, and sudden loss of income, in order to ensure their livelihood. Artists who are members of SANDEM can receive grant support from this fund under specified conditions.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
This project encompasses visual arts, performing arts, music, literature, design, film, cultural industry professionals, and independent art workers. Artists who are members of SANDEM will be able to receive grant support from this fund under specified conditions.
BASIS AND REASONING
Artists are often excluded from the social security system and face significant risks in their lives due to precarious and informal working conditions. This reality necessitates a special social solidarity mechanism for artists.
